Stays in bed.

They stay in bed the whole time: the shorts open flat underneath, so there's no need to lift or hoist them out of it.

One simple move.

Open it flat, slide it under, roll them once, close both sides. That's the whole routine.

Easier than jeans.

No lifting their hips off the bed, no tugging fabric up their legs, no special equipment.

Looks like regular shorts.

No hospital gown silhouette. No visible medical hardware. They read as ordinary clothing, not a medical garment.

How to use

Three steps, done in bed.

The Daily Shorts lying fully open, side closures unfastened

Step 01

Open the shorts flat.

Unfasten both side closures so the shorts lie completely open on the bed beneath your loved one.

Step 02

Roll them and slide it under.

Gently roll them onto one side, slide the shorts underneath, then roll them back. The shorts are now in place.

Step 03

Close and done.

Fasten both sides from hem to waist and they're dressed, entirely in bed, in one position.

Product benefits

4 reasons it works

Why it's easier than putting on jeans.

01 Caregiver relief

Opens flat. Dresses easier.

Daily Dons opens completely flat, so the garment does not have to be forced over the hips or threaded up the legs. Open, place, roll once, close.

02 Soft, flat-lying design

Soft against skin. Flat against the body.

Smooth 88% nylon / 12% elastane fabric. No buttons, zippers, or rigid hardware along the back or sides. The closure lies flat against the skin, designed for someone who spends long hours sitting or lying down.

03 Smooth, flexible fabric

Built to move with the body.

The smooth, stretchy fabric is designed to glide easily during rolling and dressing, without bunching or pulling while it's put on.

04 Caregiver control

Easier checks. Less full undressing.

The open-flat design gives caregivers access when they need it, without turning every clothing adjustment into a full dressing routine.

The founder

Built by someone who watched it go wrong every morning.

I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I spent years working in nursing homes and rehab centers, and the pattern was always the same: families fighting regular shorts to dress a body that could no longer move that way, through hip pain, stroke recovery, dementia, wheelchairs, and the bathroom moments no one wants to talk about. I kept waiting for someone to build the right garment. No one did, so I built Daily Dons.

Credentials

  • Watched hundreds of patients come home from the hospital

  • Saw the dressing problem firsthand, and built a solution

“I designed this product as if I were the patient. Because I've seen what happens when no one does.”
