About Daily Dons

We built what
shouldn't have
taken this long.

Daily Dons makes front-opening assisted dressing shorts for people who need help getting dressed, in bed, in a wheelchair, or after hospital discharge, and for the family members who do the dressing every single morning.

The Daily Shorts are Post-Discharge Clothing: built for the first mornings home after a hospital, rehab, or facility discharge.

Front-opening assisted dressing shorts existed on the market, until Daily Dons

The founder

Built by someone who
watched it go wrong
every morning.

Daily Dons was designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who spent years working in nursing homes and outpatient rehab centers. The pattern was always the same: families fighting regular shorts to dress a body that could no longer move that way, through hip pain, stroke recovery, dementia, wheelchairs, and the bathroom moments no one wants to talk about. Daily Dons exists because the product didn't, and it should have.

How we work

4 principles that guide every decision

Honest work for
real people.

01Design intent

Function over fashion.

Every seam, opening, and closure in Daily Dons was designed around what the body can and can't do after surgery or illness, not around aesthetic trends. It just happens to look good too.

02Patient-first

Looks ordinary, not medical.

These look like normal shorts because they should. Not a hospital gown. Not a medical garment with hardware everywhere. Recovery is hard enough on its own.

03No fluff

Honest about what we do.

We make front-opening assisted dressing shorts. We don't make promises about recovery timelines or clinical outcomes. We just make one part of the morning easier, and that's enough.

04Clinically informed

Built from the floor, not a boardroom.

Our founder spent years in nursing homes and rehab centers before building Daily Dons. This product didn't come from a pitch deck. It came from watching patients struggle every morning.
