How Daily Dons researches, writes, sources, and clinically reviews its caregiving and dressing guides, and how to request a correction.
Who writes and reviews our content
Daily Dons' guides are written by the Daily Dons editorial team and clinically reviewed by Daily Dons' founder, a practicing physical therapist (PT, DPT) with direct skilled nursing facility experience. The founder currently remains unnamed on the public site; where a real, credentialed review has taken place, we say so plainly rather than attaching a fabricated byline.
How we source health information
For any health or safety statement, we rely on primary and authoritative sources such as government health agencies, major condition-specific nonprofits, professional associations, and hospital or academic medical-center patient guides. Competitor product facts come from the competitor's current official product page, with the date checked recorded internally.
What we will not do
We do not invent clinical facts, product test results, customer stories, statistics, or professional consensus. The Daily Shorts are apparel, not a medical device, and we do not promise injury prevention, fall prevention, pain reduction, skin protection, or a guaranteed one-person or timed outcome. Dressing precautions vary by person, surgery, and care plan, so our guides direct readers to their own care team.
Dates and updates
Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed. We update the review date only when the content, sources, or guidance meaningfully change, not on every routine site deployment.
Medical boundary
Our guides are general education, not individual medical advice. They cannot account for a specific person's condition, precautions, or care plan. Always follow the instructions of the wearer's surgical team, physician, therapist, or nursing staff.
Corrections
If you find something inaccurate or out of date, email support@dailydon.com. We review correction requests and update the page and its last-reviewed date when a change is warranted.
